Grief Ministry Committee
Grief Ministry Committee provides support to parishioners who have experienced the death of a loved one.  A memorial service is planned each year for the end of May.  An All Souls’ Mass is offered in November for families and friends of those parishioners who died during the past year.  Sympathy cards are sent to next-of-kin after the death of a loved one and information folders are also provided upon request.

Social Concerns Committee

Social Concerns Committee assists the Pastoral Council in fostering pastoral concern and action for justice in the world. Including promotion of the respect for all human life; the pastoral care of the afflicted, the needy, the imprisoned, migrants and refugees. The Social Concerns Committee also maintains just structures in the parish, stewardship, and the greater understanding of the Church's teaching on social justice. Throughout the year, the Social Concerns Committee will organize several fundraising events, check the Events List periodically throughout the year to see how you can support this committee.

APPLICATION DEADLINE IS May 13, 2023.

Local non-profit organizations (must be 501C) which serve persons who live in Portage County are invited to apply for grant dollars through the Social Concerns Committee Outreach Fund.  The fund was established in 1995 to address human needs locally and nationally.  As these needs continue to put demands on local service organizations, St. Bronislava Parish continues to extend a helping hand to those non-profit organizations working to promote and protect the dignity of the human person.

Monies will be limited to $400 or less, and will be distributed by July 1, 2023  In order to receive funding, non-profit groups must complete the official Grant Application form and provide a short narrative of the purpose of the grant and the population to be served.

IN ORDER FOR ANY GRANT TO BE CONSIDERED, IT MUST BE SUBMITTED ON THE REQUIRED APPLICATION FORM
.  All grant applications must be POSTMARKED by May 13, 2023.
