Welcome to St. Bron's FAMILY FAITH FORMATION! Grades 1-6
St. Bronislava Family Faith Formation is a way of allowing you as a parent to exercise your God-given ministry in a way that will actually strengthen and enhance your family life. The Family Formation program provides a weekly opportunity for you to have a conversation with your children about faith and what it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ. One of the richest blessings of Family Formation comes as families learn about the beauty and truth of the Catholic Faith together. Once a month, families will come together at church to receive in-person formation and the Monthly Home Lesson packet. We will provide the guidance and the tools you’ll need for the remainder of the month. And God will provide the grace that has the power to deepen your love for each other and transform your family in amazing ways.

That’s it! The entire family learns about the same topic, each month, at their own, age-appropriate level. Nobody has to be an ‘expert’, as the whole family enjoys connecting with God and each other.

FAQs
- Why is St. Bronislava parish choosing a family-based faith formation program? Fr Ed explains it wonderfully in his August 30, 2020 letter.
- Will virtual classes be available? The Family Formation program by nature is not an online or virtual program. It includes two components: the Family (parents and children) In-person sessions and the Home Lesson packets. Our plans are to record and make available the Parent Presentation each week for those that would be unable to make an evening session or would want to revisit the presentation. Please contact us ahead of time to make arrangements. For Family Formation (grades 1-6) and Middle School (grades 7-8) contact Jody Glodowski, jody@stbrons.com. For Confirmation (grades 9-12, contact Jodi Moss, ff-youth@stbrons.com.

- February: The Trinity: Now, That's a Mystery!

- What are classroom activity centers? During our monthly Family Formation meeting at St. Brons, this is where the children experience their own grade-level group activities in a classroom, while you, as parents, hear from a special speaker on the same topic.
- Will childcare be offered for our children Kindergarten and younger? At this time, we have a volunteer to take a group of younger children during the adult presentation. Their time may include a bible story, coloring sheets, puzzles, activities, and more!
- What is a HOME Lesson / Activity Packet? During the monthly gathering at the parish, families are given a packet of weekly lessons to use at home throughout the rest of the month. These Home Lessons are easy to use and have been developed and used by regular parents with normal, busy lives. The lessons bring the whole family together to study and then apply the teachings to their day-to-day family life. Lessons for Grades 1-6 take approximately one hour per week to complete, as a family. Learning is fun through games, activities, stories, memory verses, quizzes, and audios/music. Lessons reinforce Sunday Mass, reflecting the liturgical year and immersing families into the life and seasons of the Church.
- Do we have to complete our HOME lessons on a certain day of the week? The Family Formation HOME lessons are flexible! Your family decides when when to gather for your weekly activity, reading, and discussion. Depending on age of your child(ren), depends on the time spent and level of content covered. Plan for about an hour per week - per lesson.
- Tell me more about attending Mass. The Eucharist is the source and summit of our faith. Attending Mass is about hearing God's Word and receiving Jesus in the Eucharist as a faith community and family. Be Transformed! Practicing the faith at home includes praying together, reading the Bible together, talking about faith, and, most importantly, attending Sunday Mass as a family.
